Niwot Gazette – November 2024

Nov 20, 2024 | Featured, Newsletters

Hi Everyone,
It is already mid to late November in 2024!  This is another year that has been busy and with success for the Niwot Historical Society and you all have been a part of it.
Volunteers, please:
– Our wonderful volunteer website director, Leonard Sitongia, is retiring and we are in need of someone who knows WordPress to step into those shoes as soon as possible.
– a couple volunteers would be great to have at the little Fire House Museum on Saturday, November 30 to share candy canes with visitors for the holiday parade.
-holiday greeting cards honoring one of our shops will be in the mail soon to all current members
– November 29-30 is the 160 year anniversary of the Sand Creek Massacre
– 2025 is Niwot’s Sesquicentennial of platting and we will start the Now&Then Lecture Series with a tribute to the Native American residents here prior homesteaders on February 26th
We always appreciate and are thankful for your membership and volunteering support of the organization and activities in Niwot.
Take good care of yourselves.
Kathy
