Hi, everyone!
Our months of summer are slipping by quickly and students will be back in school soon.
The Now&Then Lecture Series is resuming in a couple of weeks with a wonderful lineup of presentations:
Early Coinage In Colorado is coming on Wednesday 23 August,
Early Boulder County Residents is on September 20, and
The Haunted West will be on October 25, just a few days before Niwot’s Great Pumpkin Party.
The face of every coin has a story behind it and I enjoy learning their history. After meeting with Daryl Mercer, the presenter of our August lecture, my curiosity about my early coins piqued my interest and I learned that my 1854 USA coin definitely did not originate in Colorado.
These three lectures will begin at 7pm, doors open at 6:30pm so you can come for refreshments and conversations with the speakers or visit their display tables.
Take care and we hope to see you soon.
Kathy
