Niwot Cemetery, 73rd Street and Nimbus Road, in 1989. Iron gate was donated by Sylvanus Budd. His neighbor and friend, Jerome Gould, deeded a portion of his land for the cemetery in 1883.

Sylvanus Budd was one of the first settlers in Left Hand Valley. He was elected to the Colorado State Legislature in 1888, which is probably the date of this photo. He is the father of Katie Madden.
