Ornate brass closure, embossed “Patented June 5, 1882”. Fair condition, because of exterior wear and tear. Richard and Gladys Knaus received this album from previous generations of the Knaus family. Richard Knaus (1928-2018) is the son of Daniel Knaus (1890-1980) and Lillian Wederquist (1889-1965).
